After setting defaults for PDFs in Windows settings, launch Adobe Pro. Go to Edit, Preferences, General and scroll down to “Default PDF Handler. It is associated with PDF extensions but I can neither open it from the link in the Start menu nor when I try to open a PDF file. I haven’t installed Acrobat. Solved: I’ve installed the CS6 suite on my computer and everything worked as fine as Adobe software can work. This is Windows , a fresh installation. Solved: Hi. Adobe Acrobat X Pro cannot be set as default program on my computer to replace.me files. I am using Windows 10, bit. Acrobat was installed as part of the CS6 Master Collection.
